He just fried his HD6970 (overclocking) in the build I gave to him for helping me out. He is crying big time as I gave him a temporary HD7770. He kept bragging about his OC'ing and I kept warning him. He does not have the money to replace because he smokes weed. I do not build very many as of late so he can not earn... mainly tablet, laptop, and phone repair. He never shows up when I do those things... typical kid. He seems interested in cars however. Trying to work on a 1966 ford fairlane 500XL. Not going well considering condition, price, and transport. Amazing at what people think things are worth.

funny I got away from cars and got more into PCs...

At my shop i got room to do some heavy duty work but I lost the ambition several years ago on my last build...I just let a decent 57 150 go dirt cheap for 3,500.00 that was a decent roller....ex drag car that wasnt beat. I wanted to back-half the car but it went to someone who wont cut it...

I still have my 4-door bel-air but it needs a lot of work er I mean frame off resto....

getting ready to dig my 87 Monte out and get it running after 15 years and put the wife in the hot seat and send her down the track in it...

I understand. I am not going to open up a collision center by any means. I will do select projects for time and material and that is it. Engine / drive train will be farmed out. Still working on dropping the body over frame and drive train. Got to solve the angle iron templates to secure body to so I can lift easy and transport to walnut blast guys.

PC stuff is dwindling fast. I had a recent burst because of one new customer but realistically it is dead. Local Ma and Pa store that had me helping them out is closing and besides, it will be easy to service my loyal base.

I want to relax and work at my own pace. I just bought a Kindle Paperwhite and want to catch up. Love this Kindle

I love engine work...I'd rather do that than anything. I actually went to school for engines and I've built a ton of them... I keep trying to get my buddy (engine builder) to get big enough to take me under and just let me go crazy
