File transfer cable
Does anyone know if I use a file transfer USB cable does it leave the files on the computer you are transferring from.?

I looked at a few of these cables and they don't answer your question. Like all file transfers i'm sure you have the option of cut and paste or copy and paste. I don't think it would be cut and paste only because of the chance of losing data this way. If leaving files on the source drive is a problem then go back and delete them after the transfer has been made.

Why buy a cable when you can simply connect both computers to your router and network them?
