~$100 vid card + Soyo Dragon+ = problems FREE?

I am breaking down and getting another video card but before I do I was wondering what you other Dragon + users are using and how those are working for you. The prophet 4500 64mb DIDNT work I confirmed this by installing Everquest (didnt work), operation flashpoint (didnt start up..black screen with graphic glitches), and even Sim Themepark (started up but locked up very quickly). I am looking for a video card around $100 give or take 20 bucks...i want the most userfriendly plug and play ya got! Lemme know guys
Happy New Year

Well, I have a friend with the Soyo Dragno + and he sues the same vid card as me. The MSI GeForce2 TI Pro-VT. It is the GeForce 2 titanium card. I love this thing. It has s-vid in, s-vid out, yellow rca, and VGA. ALL different channels. the s-vid in/out isn't combined like other cards. The price of the card is 129.00 from mwave, and most likely 120.00 from newegg.

How about the Radeon VE? Has S-Video out, dual monitor support, 32MB DDR ram. Should still be able to round one up for about $89.

Check it out. Brand new ATI Radeon 64mb DDR w/dual monitor support $57.99 (the seller has 50 of them to auction off). It's on Ebay. Shipping is high at $15 and the seller has 15 negatives out of 272 feedbacks. Still, at $71 incl shipping it's a good deal.

Just remember, if you're big into gaming the Radeon VE is not the fastest card around. In that case I suggest you look into the Radeon 7500/8500 or a Geforce 2/3. HTH

here is something to remember. if you buy the ATI Radeon VE card on ebay or elsewhere, make sure the dvi-vga adapter is included. if not MWave has them for 6 bucks.
