The sweet hum of success!
Just wanted to let everyone know that my first build rounded the corner Friday night and is operating just perfectly all weekend. Thanks to all that pitched in with advice and help, and that it's great that a forum like this exists in the first place. I'm looking forward to my next build, and then the one after that, and...
One more question I read where it is important(?) to update your BIOS. Once I download it, where do I put it? |

Hello,
congrats on your successful build! Rule of thumb on updating the BIOS: if you don't absolutely need to, don't. If your system is running fine with no problems, the current BIOS is fine. -phat |

Congrats on the new build! Like mc2phat said, you shouldn't flash your BIOS unless it will fix a problem. If somthing goes risk you risk ruining the board.

While "flashing the bios" is not difficult, you should familiarize yourself with the info at this site: http://www.wimsbios.com/
