Question

My son's USB modem won't connect at speeds higher than 31200. It is a 56k modem. Any ideas of what to look for???

1. What is the brand and model?
2. Have you been able to get other modems to connect faster on the *same* phone line to the *same* ISP dialup number?
3. Have you checked the manufacturer's website for updated drivers?
