Question

Just got a new Diamond Supra Express modem and it connects at 115200 all the time. What do I need to do to fix the problem, windows says this device working properly. Think I need a inf file of a int . string,any help is appreciated and by the way windows put it on com port 1 thanks , Gary

Add S95=1 in extra settings under modem properties, to report true connect speed. If you're then at 28 or 31, place S202=32 to bump it on up. Thus:

S202=32S95=1

Thanks Sarge worked great, showed connect speed of 45333 , would you think I should change it seems like most people around my here connect about that speed,Gary

Hi Shooter, You've got the best modem on the market. You'll notice connection speeds range from 42000 to 49000 depending on time of day, ISP, and internet traffic. Sarge helped me set my supra 2730 and I couldn't be happier.
