A friend has a lucent win modem and he wants call waiting to kick him off the net so he can take the call. From what I have read he needs to add S10=# to his initialisation string. Is this correct? Is there a value for # or is it "trial and error" to find out the correct number.
Thanks Chris. |

I think there are certain codes that are universal, and then some are specific to your modems chipset. You can always try it, and if you have a cell phone or a second line then you can test it yourself.
