As the "Subject" line says, my modem will not disconnect from the line when internet explorer is closed or left idle. The setting in control panel>modems>properties>connection is "disconnect if idle longer than 10 minutes". Any ideas on where I might look to fix this problem?
Thanks,
AndyM

Cool

If you're running IE, select tools, internet options, connections, make sure your ISP is highlighted, then settings, then advanced. Set the value there to drop connection if idle for specified # of minutes.
