Screen problems

I will describe my problem as best I can. I am not very skilled in the technical side of computing. I use Outlook Express for e-mail. When I open an e-email that is longer than one screen full I attempt to scroll to the lower portion of the message using the scroll arrows. However not all of the message scrolls ... just the lower 1/2 inch (1cm approx). Even as I type this message the first 18 words of what I have typed above... down to "technical side of " is remaining in the message box while the rest "disappears" under it. I recently replaced my monitor and think I have set it up correctly but I get this problem I have described intermittently. Does anyone have any suggestions to help please. I do not have much hair left ... tearing it out by the roots.

Try updating your video driver and make sure that you have the correct monitor definition in your display properties.
