Processor Clock Voltage for Socket 5 and 7 P54C and P55C CPUs

Howdy

I recently upgraded an Aptiva 2144 desktop (LBX/riser m/b with Opti Viper chipset) which supports P54C cpus P75 through P166 and 166 MHZ P55C (MMX)
cpus (also the Cyrix M1).

This m/b has a jumper with two settings being for a 5V or 3.3V clock.
Is it the case that all P54C cpus for Socket 5 and 7 (P75 thru P200) being
3.3V chips use a 5V clock signal ? Do the P55C (MMX) cpus for Socket 7 use
3.3V for their processor clock signal ? This jumper caused me some confusion
as I wasn't aware that a 3.3V cpu also would be using 5V signals (P75 was the base cpu installed with jumper set to 5V for the clock).

Would appreciate some confirmation on this. Any ideas welcome.

Thanks
