Just for the heck of it I loaded up some Creative 128 PCI soundcard drivers, without uninstalling my cheap Creative Ensoniq PCI soundcard drivers. Low and behold the drivers took
 and now I have all the cool apps. and wavesets working on the Esoniq!  Anyone hear of this before?Obviously the cards must have the same chipset. There are no conflicts, all the extra features work, and there's no smoke coming from the card. Thought I'd pass this along for other owners of this truly crappy card.

Creative's official driver upgrade download for the Ensonique contains all the PCI 128 stuff. Looks to be the same driver AFAIK.
