Question processor speed

Now Im not the worlds best techno geek-BUT what I see is a 5x mulitplier and a 280 bus speed-thats how it is getting 1400,If it was a 266 bus and a 5x muliplier that would make it run 1.33---It COULD be an overclocked processor--this is my opinion based on my knowlege-which isnt perfect---

Hi Gamecock,

Those numbers seem out of whack to me too. I've never heard of a motherboard that has a FSB that high. Normally, a T-Bird would have settings of 100MHz FSB times a multiplier of 14 or a 133MHz FSB times a multiplier of 10.5 to get the 1400MHz speed.

What kind of motherboard is that?

motherboard is a msi (ms-6330) modified for gateway computer, when i went into the cmos bios, it show that it is a athlon 1300mhz, but the operating system showing that it's a athlon thunderbird 1400mhz....like i said, i been using for 4 months now without any problen at that high of a fsb and clock speed... i don't know that maybe it could be a overclock cpu....
