hp4000n driver which is correct one for win98
hi:
hp4000n printer, getting error messages, want to reinstall the printer driver, gone to hp web site, found 4000n but which is the correct driver. error message acrobat.exe caused an illegal.......... in gdi.exe iexplorer.exe"""""""""""""""""""""""""""in gdi.exe graphic device interface, problems with it or with the printer driver, microsoft only states hp deskjet printers and win95. thanks dennis |

What are you doing when you get the error? have you looked at adobe's site?

working in acrobat and internet explorer when I go to print from these applications, the error appears.

With that printer using Acrobat, I have always had to use the print as image option. I do not recall getting an error, just garbled text so you could be having different problem.
