Anyone know if this modem is flash upgradeable to 56K/v.90?
Hayes Accura 336 Fax Modem Model number 5914US Version 7.30 FCC ID: BFJ5901US If so, do you know where I can get the download? This old Hayes stuff is a real pain with them being bought out.. Thanks a lot. Boltguy |

Thanks Sarge. This is a self-extracting zip file which only extracts 1 file.
A 55K .inf file. I can't flash a modem with just that, correct? It may be an updated driver, but that's it. Please tell me I'm wrong.. Thanks again. Boltguy |

Not having tried it, I can't tell you anything.
I did a search in Google for your modem and it gave me that site. I saw the "flash" and assumed... I've only flashed 1 modem years ago with a USR and got the stuff from USR. It would be nice if your file had a "read me" with it. Wonder why they call it a "flash"?
