Boom cannot install drivers for digital camera

trying at work to put the drivers in for a fujifilm digital camera. everthing goes in fine till i reboot. tries to find the new drivers but stops. hit ctl-alt-dlt, comes up not responding. using windows me.tried it on my computer at home works fine.thanks again.

did you get the xp drivers?
is it hooked on usb, if yes than wich version?
And does it detect the camera on installation? if not then you might want to check if usb is enabled in the bios.

works fine at home on my computer running xp. the problem is at work on my computer running 98se.everything goes in fine till i reboot.then it says updating wizard not responding.

Perhaps there is some sort of Network Administrative restriction. Here in my office we run Win NT. Even though it is NT, it has been customized for security so that the user cannot load any piece of software or install hardware without Admin rights. I can effectively install the software but without the proper Admin key the software will not activate. Thus even something as simple as my Palm Hotsync Cradle require an IT guy half a day to connect Palm to NT.

stand alone computer. im the only one who uses it.i run s shipping dept. the only real program i run is u.p.s. other things will go in with no problem.

Win ME or 98SE

I have a finepix & am running Windows ME. I couldn't install the camera, but got special instructions from Fuji & it gives instructions for 98 & ME. If you want, I can forward the msg to you.

drivers

hi tried everything.some thing was in there that was blocking it. so last resort the restore cd's. did that and everything went in just fine.
