got a external cd-rw ,writing to a cd-rw disk just fine,but put that same cd disk in my cd-rom in my computer and that cd-rom will not read the cd,why ??? thank you.

Some Cd-rom drives can't read the RW disks, especially if they are from a year or more ago. If you have a CD-R disk around, you can copy that same information & it's likely that the CD-rom drive will read it okay. If the drive is a vintage 2x or 4x, it might not be able to read a CD-R disk, either. ...Gary |

big question is can you read the cd's in the drrw drive?
If not then chances are the cd's you use are bad. TIP. always try reading the cd's before you delete the source files |

Your CD Rom drive needs to have multiread capability to read CD RW media...check your specs.
