Post USB question

Hi all.

Great site, especially the how to build a pc bit, helped me build a second machine

as for the question, regarding usb hubs:

my usb card is dodgy, and only reads/supplies power to one of the two, meaning i have to crawl round the back whenever i want to swap between my steering wheel and my scanner.

I'm lookin to also buy an external cd drive, as my current one is screwed. This will ad dup to 3usb devices, so i'm going to buy a hub.

the question (took a while to get here):

will i be able to run all three devices simaltaniuosly on the hub (Belkin USB 4 Port Economy Hub) because one site said this is possible, while one said it isn't. got me all confused.

ta.

Yes you will, as long as the hub is AC powered and not passive.
