Problem Some French in my OS
I formated a hard drive from a win 98 boot disk and then did an install of win98se. But when I was copying files to the hard drive I noticed that I couldn't use the ' / ' or ' \ ' from their regular locations it ws giving me the french version of É and â. So i just figured that the keyboard was some how changed to French by accident and that I would change it later in the settings.
But the problem is once I got the computer all loaded up with drivers and everything else I started to install some of the software and it installed in the french version automatically. So then I came to the realization that I must have gotten the boot disk when I was working with the government. So now I'm wondering is there anyway to reset the french over to english with out having to reinstall everything. It kind of sucked since the Win 98 SE was an english version and I don't speak french. Anyone have any Ideas |

Reginal Settings were set to French so I changed that and I changed the Keyboard layout so hopefully that will take care of everything. Never installed anything new yet to see if it installed in english.

Agree with homer, or just D/L a bood disk on another PC(unless you can read enough French to get by). Be warned, when my floppy died it would only read the disks that created(and those disks were cramped full of errors).
