Hi grogblob,

If you aren't planning to overclock that CPU (why would you?) then just get the retail version...it comes with a AMD approved heatsink that will work fine.

If you do intend to overclock, see this thread: What is the best Heatsink?

Otherwise... people recommend the Alpha PAL###

# = numbers I can't remember. There's only one Alpha Heatsink/Fan unit at Newegg, and that's it.

After building that system, why settle for a hs for around $20. Geez, the most important part of the pc that needs protecting is limited to a budget price. That's the wrong approach, in my respectful opinion. You want the best hs, regardless of $$.
