hiya, well im back again and im havin more problems with my ECS K7S5A Motherboard...
... The problem is, the on biard sound is working, but the sound it crackily and distorted. Iv tried installing loads of new drivers and even flashed the bios and nothings helped. Iv even tried disabling the onbaord sound and tried installing my old pci souund card, and allthough this helps the sound in games and stuff most of the time, it is no way near as good as it should be and the sound still slightly crackles and distorts. can someone please help, i cant affored a new one! |

Assuming you are using external speakers did you consider it could be them?
The plug from the speakers to the sound card could be loose or bad. The connection between the 2 speakers could be bad. The speakers could be shot. |

Regardless, me personally I would still try a different set of speakers. Just a suggestion.
