Simple question, how well will Win2K handle multiple sound cards?
I'm thinking about one of a few new mobos with integrated LAN + Sound. The onboard sound card is supposed to be really good, but I have one card (which is decent but not great), but I like the Midi synth it has, with certain drivers and a decent soundfont it's excellent.
Can I put the card into the new system, and use my old card only for the synth capabilities, while still keeping the onboard audio enabled and used for all other apps? Or does Win2K not like multiple sound cards?
