fqpissed Bios probs

Have just built my first computer

KR7A-133 Mobo
Xp 1800
Crucial DDR PC2100

Seems to be a problem in the BIOS. I get a "CPU has become unworkable or has been changed" message. The CPU does not seem to be unworkable as i can still boot to windows if i just use F1 to carry on.
When i change anything in th BIOS and then Save+Exit the computer powers down but wont boot, all fans are going but i cant restart it .The only way to make it boot again is to reset the CMOS.

Is there something ive missed/done wrong or any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just guessing but you probably do not have the jumpers set properly on the motherboard for that processor. Or the soft menu settings for this processor are incorrect. Hence this message.
