Alpha PAL8045 w/ SOYO Dragon Ultra KT333 ?
I was wondering if that heatsink will work with that board.. i'm assuming it will since it'll fit fine on the Dragon+, but I just wanted to check. It's not listed on the compatibility list that Alpha has (http://www.micforg.co.jp/mb_inf_pal8045e.html).
Thanks, Pete |

I don't know!
The only way to see is measure the area around the socket and compare it to the footprint of the heatsink. You may want to consider a Thermalright heatsink(uses all 3 lugs on socket and offers the best in cooling.) |

Looking at the picture I would say yes http://www.soyousa.com/images/800x60...ragon_lite.jpg as it has the mounting holes to attach the HS.
Chas I use the 8045 with whisper fan on my XP1600 and it is very quite and runs at 38c idle.
