I want to make a air duct for my vid card (ATI Rage fury128) because it runs hot and i want to get the hot air out of my case. would card board be ok for the ducting or should i use metal like an aluminum pie plate?

Think I would lean towards anything electrically non-conductive. Been considering a duct made of pvc pipe for my V3-would look really tacky, but nobody is looking.

I found that idex cards (3.5"x5"), scotch tape, and Plasti-Tack work the best. Just cut it, tape it together, and stick it on.

Go to a Home Depot or hardware store and check out the ducting tubes they carry, some are made from plastic and are flexible,so can be bent any way you want them.Cost should be $2.00-$5.00.
Do you have a fan attached to your card?
A card cooler is another option.
Check it out.

I found that in the plumbing dept. you can get flexable drain pipes that work great for ducting.

Hey guys,
You can also get this flexable ducting at an auto parts store. It is made for defroster and air conditioning to route it to the vents.
