Are you trying to copy from one CD drive to another "on-the-fly"? Sometimes this doesn't work if it is on the same IDE channel. Try making an image of the CD you want to copy and copy that to the hard drive. Then Nero will have an ISO burner you can use to copy the image file onto a CD. Hope it helps
By the way, what CD-RW drive are you using, and what brand of CD-R/RWs?

Hi wilbasket23,
Are you using a CD-RW disk? Those have to be formatted before you use them. You would normally use those with packet writing software like InCD. If you're trying to do a CD to CD or hard drive to CD burn, use CD-R disks. Those don't have to be formatted, just stick them in the CD-RW drive and go. Cricket

CD-RW don't need to be formatted either. Formatting is only necessary for PacketWriting. For CD to CD and hard drive to CD you use the CD-RW the same way as the CD-R. No difference.
What CD is it ? Is it a copy protected CD ? If so, you need a program like CloneCD. RJ
