Cool Question about TV card and TV turner Card!!!

hello, what is the difference between TV card and TV turner Card Are both the same. Are both which you can watch TV in your computer. Or both are differenct. Also, can either TV card or TV turner Card watching different area or region TV network such as if i am in USA and want to watch Chinese TV program can we use TV card or TV turner card to find the TV broadcast stattion and watch the TV program. Also, if i want to convert those VHS video into mpeg video or video cd can i use TV card or TV turner card to connect to VCR and transfer the image to the computer and burn it to VCD. Can anyone show me and tell me how to do it. And tell what specific hardware is needed in order to perform that function. Thank You

the tv tunner will not give you any other options to do anything but watch tv.

the ati ( as a example only) radionwill be a great video card, tv tunner, dvd player, didital video recorder, and video capture with any input device, and has audio and video inputs and outputs for just about everything.

so there is really no comparesion between the two.

Yep, the latest AIW cards are based on the Radeon chipsets (7500 and 8500).

Yup, the 7500 is a 64Mb version, the 8500 is available in a 64Mb and 128Mb. All versions come with a RF remote control as well.

TV card and TV tuner card are the same. Just different expressions (some say it with the word "tuner", some don't).
