DiskGo is a Fujitsu hard drive utility for installing Fujitsu hard drives.
While using DiskGo to install my new Fujitsu 10GB hard drive, I received the folowing error message: "System setup support for this drive has not been enabled. The drive cannot be formatted until system support is enabled. Please enable the support for the drive at primary controller – slave drive (drive 1) in the system as soon as possible." I'm trying to install the HD in a Packard Bell Legend 1994 CDTW. I can get into setup by pressing F1 at start up. The error mesage occurred when I had the original hard drives installed. The original HD's are: PM: Conner 2113MB CFS2113A PS: Conner 2113MB CFS2113A Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem, and properly install the new Fujitsu HD in my Packard Bell ??? Thank you. Are you installing a 3rd drive and is it set as Secondary master?
Are there any other devices set on the ribbon? Why not use fdisk? |
