Is the Intel 845E chipset a good chipset?

Is the Intel 845E chipset a good chipset? I wonder because the P4B533 mobo has this chipset, and i was looking at getting this mobo.

The Intel chipsets are very good. Intel is very stable.

Try to keep these questions in your original thread. Just easier to follow the train of thought.

Yes, all Intel chipsets are very stable and reliable. It's just that some of them are out of date, like the original i845 and such. And the Asus P4B533 is a great board; Asus makes great boards and Intel makes great chipsets.

Why is the P4B533 more than the P4S533 and it doesnt handle pc2700 DDR RAM like the P4S533 does?
