Recently bought wireless keyboard and mouse, problem is after a while mouse refuses to work but the keyboard is still operational.
The receiver light blinks when i use the mouse so i know it works,if i unplug it and use the old ps2 mouse it works fine.
Any one else had this problem.

Is there some type of battery on the mouse? I've heard that some wireless mouses batteries go dead.

i can never get those damn things to work right on my computers, microsoft or logitech. When they do work, all I need is for my neighbor to get a phone call and then nothing.

I never have a problem with my Logitech unit. I've used it first with win98 and now with win2K and no problems. I replace the batteries in the mouse 3-4 times a year and the keyboard usually goes the whole year on a set.

You could try different batteries and moving the receiver around some. If the receiver is to close to the mouse or keyboard or there is another component causing interference then sometimes communication between them can be sparatic.

I can't seem to get my new Logitech cordless keyboard or mouse to work..... I have been trying to use an adapter for the keyboard though to use it with an older AT style MB! Anyone had any luck with that? But I can't get either the mouse or keyboard to work at all..... Any one got any answers???

I don't think it will work with an AT board. If the AT board has USB headers, get the usb port bracket thing, and plug it into usb.
