HI,
When building a PC, sometimes you want an AMD sticker, on the front of the case. I went to local shops and found out they charge for them. You can get them for FREE by sending an E-Mail, with your Name, address etc to the below e-mail address. Obviously, state you would like some free stickers!!! I got 10XP stickers through the post within a week, which I was pretty chuffed about! Seems like somethings in life are for free!!! Just thought Id mention it, might save you a few bucks if you after some.... E-mail: amdliterature@comac.com Njoi!! Zinedene |

You can get the stickers free directly from AMD as well. You never know, the person with that email could just be collecting names and addresses.

DrZaius ,
Thats a good point. I got the info from the internet, where everyone was ordering them. I think someone else asked the same question, and the response was that was who AMD were using to handle the stickers distribution. I cant tell you if its correct. But on the envelope it actually from AMD, and Comac is the delivery company. Mine arrived within the the 3-7 days AMD specified Zinedene |

DrZaius,
No problem, better safe than sorry! I understand what u mean tho. Too many scams out there nowadays, collecting peoples data, etc people are ordering these and selling them on ebay and in shops, to unaware or newbie people. Thats why I thought I would mention it, and hopefully save someone that extra expense and misfortune. But, I'll be glad to take donations!!!!hehehe, lol But, as for the stickers, I just ordered some more, so Im eagerly awaiting their arrival. At last, something for free!! Zinedene. |

I just sent away for mine.
I always use a fake name for stuff like this. Don't ever fill out sweepstakes or contest forms , thats how compnays get a lot of names and numbers. |

Hi,
I heard that when you apply on the amd website, you gotta put codes in and it takes a little longer, as the email is busy with other stuff aswell I got mine within the week, and registered post! Try both, or just the AMD website if you want. You have to put codes in , if you use the website tho. Xtc_Vampire , they should deliver to Canada, my mate got his their last year! They ship them all over the world! New Zealand, India, Spain, France, England, Scotland, etc....people from all these countries have reicieved them Arrival times have been varied tho. Some within a week, up to a few months. Ive ordered two sets more to my house, and four sets to my mates house. Talk about overkill!!! They got XP, Athlon, and Duron stickers. Rumour was they did have some MP stickers, but dont know if its true!! Zinedene

Funny,
People emailed Intel to see if they could offer something like that, but they refused! Wanted money (hmm, intels philosophy, lol) If anyone has recieved from Intel, post it up, so others with Intels CPUs can get some! Zinedene |

I remember HAL mentioned a while back that Intel will send you one if you have a copy of your receipt.

Sorry to post again but I just wondered if I was going to get an email confirmation of my order from AMD for the stickers
(I filled out the order form on the website) The reason I ask, I was greeted with a few "Do you want to debug" errors when trying to submit the form. I chose no but I don't know if it went through with the process or not Jim |

The only stickers they available are AthlonXP and Duron. The athlon code AMD223546A is AthlonXP.

wireant,
Good timing for you then! u just saved $7!! you can get something else now, or save the money. fatboyjim, With regards to confirmation, its had a varied response. I know lots of people who havent recieved confirmation, and recieved their stickers. At the same time, other people have recieved confirmation, and then got the stickers. With the e-mail address I used (on top of page) I didnt recieve a confirmation, but I got the stickers within the week. I got 10 XP ones, so I was chuffed! I ordered some more now, both from the AMD website, and the email address, so I'll let people know the length of time each method takes to arrive. Im sitting in 'bonnie' Scotland, and got mine fairly quickly, so you should get them soon. Hope that helps, you should see my 2PC's now, their covered with XP stickers. Cant wait till more arrive, gonna have to find somwhere to put them !! hmmm, maybe time to build PC no3! Zinedene |
