HDD failure - Pls Help
Hi Guys,
good day to all of you. I encountered error on my PC days ago. the problem was, its not booting or detecting my HD. So what I did, I replace a new one (40g). I installed and started my PC. the message on screen was Detecting Primary IDE - NONE I tried to configure in BIOS through AUTO DETECT - and its not detecting. What was the problem? Could it be from MOBO, CPU or What?? My PC is Pentium III-450mhz Thanks for your valuable input. Henry

What type of Hard Drive is the new 40gig. ? If it is Western Digital and the only drive on the PC you must remove the jumper.
