When is p4 2800 mhz coming?
When is it coming out. It's coming out in competition with the amd xp 2600+.
Wow, technology today is amazing. Numbers are so high. Heh, the 2800 Mhz will probably cost like $1500. That's pretty expesive.

YOWZER! I just wish the hard drive manufacturers would ante up and gives us a little more without the platters disintegrating.

Personally, I think the speed competition will eventually come to an end... or a slowdown at least. Then the competition will turn more to the manufacturing process which will change the efficiency in which these processors run at these rated speeds.

Your right Hal, but since the AMD Hammer and Jackhammer is coming out, it will probably be awhile.

No, you're telling me. I still have a ibm penitum 50 Mhz, like 32 ram, 17" 16 bit monitor, and like 1 gig hdd which I bought for like $5000, over 8 years ago.
![]() I think in about 10 years, technology will die out. Then it's into the cars! Flying cars. the future. Lol.

I heard WinXP doesn't like the 2.8, something about stability issues... Any truth to this?

I haven't read that, all the overclockin sites are running them at 3150 to 3250 and claiming no loss in stability.
