I heard a rumor that Microsoft took out the insert key.

Is this true?

Screensavers on Techtv showed a new keyboard from Microsoft on tonights show and said that it had been removed.

Yeah, I was watching that, not really paying attention, but i heard that part and it struck me as odd, I was wondering if anyone else had.

The only keys you need with Micro$oft are Control, Alt, and Delete.
