CDRom & Modem conflict??
I have a Samsung SW224B CD/RW and an Intel 536ep v.92 modem. When I install the XP driver for the modem and restart then when I put a cd in the CD/RW I cannot see the files in the window and it doesn't seem to be spinning. Then when I uninstall the modem driver and restart the CD/RW functions fully again. The location of the modem is PCI slot 5 (PCI bus is 0, device 9, function 0). Could this be a PCI slot problem, a device conflict or IRQ problem? If anybody has any knowledge of this situation, PLEASE let me know! Thank you!

Well, change the modem to another PCI slot and that should tell u if it's a slot related prob.
