PS/2 Mouse not detected

I am attaching the PS/2 Mouse connector. The connector comes with connector but 4 cables green, yellow, red and brown. The manual shows the diagram of 1x5 Connector with numbering as follows:
Pin No.
on the board
1 Data ----- Green
2 CLK ------ Yellow
3 GND ----- Red
4 NC
5 VCC ------Brown

With this configuration, I got PS/2 Mouse not detected. Then I reversed the connector so that Brown cable connects to 1, 2 remains empty then Red, yellow & green for 3,4,5 respectively. Same message.
Then I changed the mouse, No success.
Please help me. I think the color code of the connector is wrong. I am not sure. I need help from teachers.
Thanks in advance.

Do you have the motherboard manual at hand. I remember doing this to my shuttle HOT-591P. What are the specs?
