Angry Fire !!! System Hang !!!

I'm using AMD-K6 - 2/450, 128MB RAM

My system is able to auto detect the IDE devices but hang after the System Configuration with a Message: "PCI device listing ..." I just dont know why ... PLEASE HELP !!!

Perhaps you are having some resource conflicts. Is this a new problem? HAve you installed something lately? Try moving your PCI card(s) to another slot, but NOT the one right next to the AGP slot.

Yes, install a PC-100 Kingston 256MB RAM and it run ok but the next day i encounter this problem.

Sometime the system even hang before the "Auto Detect IDE devices". When i restart the system, the monitor displayed nothing but blank screen.

Perhaps the stick is loose, or defective. Try reseating the ram modules. If it continues, try pulling the new stick and see if the problem still occurs.

If the monitor is showing a blank screen that's a good indication that your RAM or video card is not seated properly.
