Is this any good?

I was considering getting a GF4 Ti4200. Newegg has this 128 MB one for a pretty good price:

ALBATRON GeForce 4 TI4200P (NVIDIA GeForce4 TI4200 GPU), 128MB DDR, DVI+VGA TV-Out. w/DVI adaptor
Specifications:
Chipset:NVIDIA GeForce4 TI4200 GPU
Memory:128MB DDR Memory
GPU Clock 250MHz
Memory Clock 200MHz
Memory Bandwidth: 8.0 GB per second
RAMDAC 350MHz
Fill Rate: 4 Billion AA Samples/Sec
Ports: 15-PIN D-Sub / SV-out / DVI
DVI adaptor is included
Comes bundled with Software Titles

I know you guys don't speak to highly of Albatron but it did get a good review from Maximum3D...any thoughts? Thanks a lot

hmmm Yeah I myself am looking for a new gphx card. I looked at that one but decided against it due to the dislike of albatron from here. However, since there's a post here, I might as well gain people's input also.

Howdy

looking thru about 6 or 7 previous threads about Albatron... it seems that most people dont have an opinion either way about that company... hate to be neutral, but i can't find anything substantial that would lead me to say it's good or bad... but, i can say, if it has a good warranty where you can't lose in the short term, then go for it...

What about overclockability with this specific make? I've heard the Gainward Golden Sample's were best for overclocking...how does this compare?

a lot of people love the gainward golden samples.... if you're looking to overclock, then i suggest staying safe and taking the gainward... with little info on the albatron, it'd be a bigger gamble to o/c .... imo.

Ok, I think I'll go with the Gainward...costs a little more, but I guess it's worth it if I can overclock it to around a 4400/

Albatron was started by some former Gigabyte engineers. The company is still too new for any kind of long-term quality and reliability judgements.
