I want to buy some blank Fuji 80 minute CDs that are on sale but there are some questions.
1. Will my old 2006 two speed Smart and Friendly CD recorder be compatible with these 80 minute CDs and; 2. I have heard that some types of CDs will not play in every CD player. Can someone inform me if these Fuji CDs will? 3. I have heard that many cd players cannot play back BASF/Emtec media and some people say to use only gold CDs and not silver because silver reflects the laser too much and may not play. Does anyone know the real facts behind these compatibility issue why some CD players will not play some burned CDs? |

1. Maybe. All you can do is get *one* 80 minute CD and try it.
2. Don't know. 3. I have a customer who tells me that his car CD player will only play gold CD's. Silver and blue will not work in his unit. Buy one and try to burn it. If it burns, try to play it. |

I've used Fuji and they are great for car players. Works great in mine.
I've used memorex, it works great at first but then somehow my cd deck doesn't like them anymore Quite strange.... |
