Winbond hardware doctor

I installed hardware doctor with my Abit MB. When I click on it to open it, everything works fine and I am able to check all the vital signs. But if I try to open it again, it will not. After I reboot, it works fine again, but I cannot open it twice during the same bootup on my pc. This doesn't sound normal. Should I reinstall?

Make sure it doesn't minimize to a tray icon when you exit. Make sure it or a process it starts does not fail to exit when you exit normally.

If that doesn't help, you may as well reinstall, won't take more than 5-10 mins, and could help.

Hi,

Once you open the HDoctor, an icon of an eye stays in the bottom right hand corner..if you double click it , it will re-open the software.. you can also right click it, and choose restore or exit..
Once you open the software after bootup etc, it always stays on, so it can keep track of your temps/fan rpm's/voltages etc..

Because it HDoctor stays on, if you try and re-open it from the Start>Programs> etc method, it will not open, as the software is already running.
If the icon does not appear in the bottom corner, then I would try and install it again..

Hope that helps,

Zinedene
