problems with optical usb mouse
I have a saitek optical usb mouse and whenever I unplug it from my computer, if I plug it back in it won't work for about an hour or so. I first noticed it the other day when I had it unplugged. I have it plugged in to the front usb on my case, and I had to take the front off for something. When I connected my mouse back I turned my computer on I got nothing from the mouse. All I got was a message when I got into windows saying that there was no mouse detected. I've tried plugging my mouse into the usb on the back panel and I still have the same problems. I have all the drivers up to date, and this is just an annoyance more than an issue.

So is this even after a restart?
Sounds quite annoying to me, don't USB sockets on the front of the machine look nice until you plug anything into them ? ![]() Take a look in Control Panel --> System --> Device Manager and see if there are any settings in either USB Hub or Optical Mouse that you may have overlooked Can't think of anything more helpful that than I'm afraid HTH, Jim |
