Cheap Dual P3 Chips

Hello.

I am looking for a place to get 2 identical P3 Chips to run on a board I aquired.

The board can run a single Celeryon or a single VIA C3 or Single P3 or Dual P3.

However my dillema is that the cheapest P3 I can find is 165$ CDN (about 90$ USD)...

Anyone know of a cheaper place to get P3 Chips. Thanks

I haven't seen any. P3's are just refusing to come down. You might try ebay or different forums. New p3's are still running around 100 usd.

Why aren't they coming down, no one's buying them to my knowledge?

People are still buying the faster ones. There are still tons of servers running them. In some applications there is no advantage into upgrading to a P4.

I am looking at a 1Ghz slot 1 PIII processor $102.5 at googlegear.com to upgrade my 450Mhz slot 1 PIII, cheaper then buying a new motherboard, and 762 MB of ram with a new gen proccesor. Adam you should look around and you probably can find something cheaper, you could get a used machine (garage sale) just to cannabilize the processor if needed.

I've seen plenty of people running dual Celerons. I know it "isn't supported" but AFAIK it works just fine. Someone correct me if that's wrong.
