Hi i3OSS,

I'm not sure what your asking... Those are all the same mobo... There are two basic choices: w/ raid, w/o raid. The raid version come with FireWire, the non-raid version does not. Other than that, I know of no real difference. The all can run the same CPUs and memory, and have the same BIOS updates.

I bought the raid version mainly because it was cheaper than getting a separate FireWire card.

HTH

TwoRails, I think he's posting the same motherboards from different vendors...I counted 14 different places. But you're right...it's the same motherboard with or without RAID.

Go to MWAVE and get the board for $98 and it has everything but onboard video. It has RAID but even if you don't need it you dont have to use it just keep is disabled. It is a better price than all those places.

Mwave is a nice vendor. Sometimes they're the cheapest and sometimes they're not. But it seems they like to bend you over on the shipping. Just my two pennies

I just built my first and ordered everything from newegg.com. I returned the motherboard and replaced it with another all without a single problem. They were fast and I think very reasonable with shipping costs. I would recommend them highly.

Oops...sorry, I was reading TwoRails post and got confused.

So if it's all the same motherboard, why are you asking which one is best?

There is a price spread of $10 between top & bottom.

If you want the board and price is important, pick the cheapest.

If price is no object & you like the highest vendor, buy from them.

If you're in a hurry, find the fastest delivery & hang the cost.

If you want a good vendor, buy from Newegg like most others here and don't sweat the $10.

The BEST way to do it is to put it on your Newegg wish list and wait for it to go on sale!!

My $0.02

Personally I think NewEgg ships faster than most other companies.

...just buy NewEgg!

???

I'm really rusty at binary, if that's what that was.

Could you convert that to Euro's for me?
