Burn Test FAIL....

I purchased a PC Mech cd-r a few mths. ago and just reloaded win 98 installed all hardware run the burn test and got a "FAIL" result. I did have one thing fail and it was the floppy.
It ran 52 cycles, 2908160 Ops, found 1 error "Data Verify Faliure"
Thats the only failure I had. how can I fix this?
Thanks.

Did you have a floppy in the floppy drive?
If you didn't,you'll get a fail as there's nothing for the floppy drive to read or write to.

Try another floppy, does the floppy drive work, can you read and write to it?
If you can,I wouldn't sweat it too much!
