Mesh Fan Filters
Mesh Fan Filters do they:
1. Block air? 2. Do they work well? 3. Do they keep dust out? 4. Do they even make a difference? In short, are they even worth it? |

I thought about putting them on my brother's machine when I built it, but decided against it after I read that when they get dirty they can actually decrease air flow. I just checked his machine the other day and there wasn't any appreciable amount of dust anywhere inside. He keeps it inside a compartment on his computer desk though and the outside desk door is shut all the time except when he's using it. My personal opinion, unless you live in a really dusty house you probably don't need the filters.
