sleeve bearing fan greasing
I read that greasing up the sleeve bearing fan makes it last longer. How would one do this? what grease does one use? I'm looking at the cheap antec fans.

Hi hmm...,
If I were to use anything, I'd use about a 1/2 drop of Marvel Mystery Oil. Great stuff. TwoRails |

From the back of the fan, lift the label sticker up to expose the area you apply oil to. Put a drop or two of oil and then replace the label. Cricket

I usually just shoot some WD-40 into the motor area by sticking the can straw into the gap.
Why don't you just replace the cheap fans with some ball bearing fans? |

I use a drop of Mobil 1 under the sticker. Works well for me.
