I'm having problems formatting a new 20gig USB pocket hard disk drive using XP disk management.
After formatting (100%), xp reports that it is unable to complete formatting. The settings I use are "extended partition" - "logical drive" - "assign drive letter (G). Other settings are default. Is it something to do with my settings or is the new drive faulty ? It's frustrating waiting for the format to complete and then reporting an error. Advice appreciated. |
