My p4 setup doesnt start. hmm?

I just finished setting up my intel mobo with my p4 2,4 processor. Anyways when i turned the power on for the 1st time all i saw start was the green light on the mobo. No fans kicked in, or even the cathode light. Whats up?

Jeff,
To test everything out, you need the cpu, ram, and video card CORRECTLY installed. Don't hook up any drives yet. Then move the motherboard jumper from "run" to "config" and start the machine up. It should go into the Intel Setup screen. If you get this far, you know everything (so far) is working. If you can't get into the setup screen, STOP; You've got something hooked up wrong.

Actually, you can power up outside the case without a video card. I did just that while troubleshooting my latest build. Just the RAM, mainboard, CPU, and PSU. Shorted the PWR_ON pins, and it started right up.
