Power Cable

Ive run out of power connectors in my case!

i need one more to connect to the CD/RW

Could you tell me where i could order one so i know what to go and get!

AHA

thank you, i just wanted to make sure they existed, im in the UK and Newegg dont ship :'(

however i can goto the trade fair this weekend and get one!

are there any issues with using these?

Just don't use it on the hard drive power connection. You can use it fine on a CD-ROM drive or one of your fans.

yeah its going on my CD, why cant you use them on the HDD?

Probably because it shares the power between the two items and HDD needs a fair chunk of power.

But I'm just guessing.

You're right...the hard drive draws a lot of power at boot up and you don't want any kind of power flux to interfere with that process. It's good practice to keep the main boot hard drive by itself on it's own power cable.

Tandy should carry those if they still exist in the UK as parts houses.
