I thought I told ya way back that you MUST use the floppy cable that came with the motherboard - multiple position floppy cables will NOT work on an Intel P4 motherboard!
There is no functional reason to use round cables in a P4 Northwood build anyway - there are no cooling issues. |

I honestly dont know what I did. I just played with the cables. I think something must have been loose.
Also glc I know you said that, but i went with round cables so it didnt seem so cluttered in there. |

You're hooked. I started out in exactly the same spot you did Jeff. It was about 3 years ago.
My first post was, "What is the system tray"? Everybody was talking about the "system tray" in WIN98 and I didn't know what that was. |
