HI ALL,
THIS IS MY FIRST MESSAGE. I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH SOUND THROUGH MY SPEAKERS. I HAVE JUST INSTALLED A NEW SOUND CARD: SOUND BLASTER CT4810 . THE VOLUME IS AT ITS HIGHEST. PLEASE HELP THANKS |

welcom to pcmech!
first off...are you getting any sound? if your not, make sure that you disabled the onboard sound in the bios if thats what you had before, then make sure you have the right drivers for your card installed. hth |

YES I AM GETTING SOUD BUT IT IS VERY SOFT!! COULD IT BE MY SPEAKERS?? I JUST HAVE STANDARD SPEAKERS NOTHING FANCY

have you checked all the volume controlls in the audio panel?

yes i have and they are all active and at full volume!!!

tried new speakers but still the same problem!!

did you load the proper drivers,what did you have for sound before you installed this card

Thanks I have sorted out the problem. It was the speakers after all.
